Alcoholic Beverages

Moderate use permitted at your campsite ONLY!  You may not walk around with open containers. You must have a valid photo I.D. at check-in.  No kegs/pumped beer are allowed in the campground at any time.  Any kegs, taps, and paraphernalia will be confiscated and become the property of the campground.  No beer pong or other drinking games allowed.  You may not walk/ride to the bar with any open containers and you may ot return w/ any. return with any

Age

No one under the age of 18 may check into the park without a parent or guardian.

Campsites

No more than 6 people, at any time, per campsite. Do not exceed your site boundaries. You may not move to a different site.

Cancellations

If you cancel your reservation, or do not show, 14 days or less, prior to your arrival date, there will be a $40. / site fee charged.  If you cancel your reservations 15 days or more prior to your arrival date, there will be a $25 service fee charged.  HOLIDAY RESERVATIONS:  All monies paid will be forfeited if cancelled 14 days or less, prior to arrival.  If cancellation is 15 days or more prior to arrival date, there will be a refund of all monies paid , minus a $25 service fee per site.

Check-Out

Check in time is from 1-10pm.  Guests must check out any time prior to noon (12:00 pm). If you wish to extend your stay, or cannot vacate your lot by noon, please re-register by 11:00 am. Failure to check out by noon will require you to pay for another day.  There are no refunds on or after arrival.

Children

For safety reasons, children must be supervised by an adult at all times. Children must be at their site by dusk, unless they are accompanied by an adult.

Defacing Park Property

Cutting of trees and branches, or trenching of lots, burning of grass, or any other means of destructive behavior will not be tolerated. You will be charged for repairs and labor and asked to leave.  Please report any such behavior to the office.

Fires

Campfires must be in your fire ring only and attended at all times. No bonfires or multiple ring fires. Do not bring firewood into the park, including pallets. Everything must be burned in your fire ring to avoid a cleaning charge.

Garbage

Dispose of all garbage in the dumpster located by the office. Trash left in fire rings, on campsites, or in surrounded wooded areas will result in a cleaning charge.

Golf Carts

Are allowed to be driven in the campground by adults, 18 and older, with proof of insurance and a valid drivers license and proper lighting if driven after dusk.

Grey & Black  Water

The Health Department requires closed containers. Empty your tanks at the dump station only.

Pets

No more than two pets per site. Pets must be leashed (no more than 6 feet) and within the owner’s site at all times. You are expected to clean up any pet waste and dispose of it immediately. Excessive barking, growling, or aggressive behavior may be grounds for eviction from the park. No animals are allowed in the bath house. We do not allow aggressive breeds, such as pit bulls, Rottweilers, or any mixed pit bull or Rottweiler breeds. No exceptions.

Quiet Time

Golden Township has a noise ordinance between the hours of 11:00 pm – 8:00 am. We observe this ordinance and will enforce this rule. Loud noises during this quiet time (music, racing of engines, loud talking, shouting, or other disturbances) are not allowed. Radios must be off by 11:00 pm. By midnight, guests are expected to whisper only, and then only on their own campsite. All lights and campfires must be out by 1:00 am.

RC Cars/Drones

Remote controlled cars and drones are NOT allowed in the park.

Speed Limit

Speed limit within the park is 15 mph.  Drive slowly and watch for children.

Vehicles

Vehicles must be parked vertically on site. No paddle tires allowed on the ground in the park.  Test/tunes, repairing, revving engines, joy riding, or loud vehicles will not be tolerated at ANY time in the park or in the overflow area. Only street legal vehicles allowed on the ground.  All other vehicles  must stay trailered at all times, including in the overflow parking area. Gates closes at 11:00 pm to all vehicle traffic. No more than 2 vehicles /site at any time. There is additional free parking in the designated overflow parking area.  Vehicles parked on wrong site will be towed to the overflow area at owners expense.   All vehicles entering the park must have a visible parking pass in the windshield.

Visitors

All visitors must register at the office. Registered guests are responsible for the actions of their visitors. There is a $10.00 per day guest pass fee. All visitors must leave the park by 10:00 pm. No visitors during holiday weekends.

Wristbands

All guests and visitors must have a wristband on to enter the park. If you lose your wristband, you will be charged full price to replace it. If you bring your broken or damaged wristband to the office, we will replace it for free. If you are found with no wristband, you will be evicted from the park.

**Fireworks and concealed weapons of any kind are prohibited in the park or on campground property**

By checking in and camping at Val-Du Lakes Campground, you acknowledge that you have read the above polices and understand them. Any violations of these policies can result in immediate removal from the campground and forfeiture of all camping fees, used or unused.
